The New Zealand Branch of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, and the Organising Committee would like to invite you to join them at the New Zealand Branch Annual Scientific Meeting to be held in Queenstown, July 2012.
Queenstown situated in the south west of New Zealand’s South Island is the Southern Hemisphere’s premier four season lake and alpine resort. Surrounded by majestic mountains and nestled on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown’s stunning scenery is inspiring and revitalising with activities such as skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, bungy jumping and tramping tracks and many other extreme sports for the more adventurous.
The theme for the 2012 meeting is “An Update on Emergency Imaging – A Case- Based Imaging Review”. We are delighted to have Professor Eric Stern and Associate Professor Joel Gross from Seattle, and Dr Dinesh Varma from Melbourne as our international guest faculty, as well as several national and local faculty.
Upon completion of this course participants should be able to identify, comprehensively assess and correctly diagnose various conditions and diseases from many subspecialty areas, and describe the common characteristics that aid in arriving at the correct diagnosis in cases that are likely to occur in practice.
The New Zealand Branch has a reputation for delivering high quality meetings and the 2012 meeting will ensure that this well- deserved reputation is maintained. On behalf of our Christchurch organising committee, I look forward to hosting you in Queenstown in 2012.
Kind regards
Dr Sean Skea
Convenor
